Who we are
KMR Livestock founders
KMR Livestock Europe was founded in Tallinn in 2010 by Mehmet Ali Kumru and Tarık Kumru. Mehmet Ali Kumru, a veterinarian with 30 years of experience in livestock trading and farming across various countries, passed away on January 6, 2020. All future years will be dedicated to honoring his name and memory.

KMR bought Sikeldi Farm in Raplamaa, Estonia.

The farm began operations with the import of a full pedigree Limousin herd from France.

In 2016
KMR built a new, modern farm in Ankara, Turkey, for trading purposes. In 2017, KMR began expanding its own livestock transportation logistics.
2016
Mehmet Ali Kumru had three sons who now lead KMR Livestock Europe and Kumrular Food. Ahmet Kumru and Hakan Kumru oversee Kumrular operations in Turkey, managing export markets, animal identification, cattle trading, and the import of livestock into Turkey.
Tarık Kumru, the youngest son, leads trade, farming, and export activities in Estonia and other EU countries.
Currently, both companies employ over 20 skilled professionals.
The primary goal of KMR Livestock Europe is to facilitate international trade, with a focus on importing and exporting livestock between various countries, as well as developing our own farms, export centers, and livestock logistics.
With this mission, we have exported over 50,000 high-quality live cattle to 10 countries for breeding, fattening, and slaughter. We have established strong partnerships with hundreds of breeding farms, organizations, and traders worldwide.
